We decided to meet up and go for a walk that resulted in a promotional Jack Daniels cinnamon whiskey shot tasting at The Tam, followed by an impromptu night's sleep in the back of a Toyota Yaris, and meeting our mutual families within 48 hours of knowing each other. Then, within two weeks of meeting, we bought tickets to London and flew directly into the eye of a pandemic.
