The Wedding Website of Ana Pao Rios Martinez and John Paul Higgins
We’re aware that for the majority of our guests this is their first trip to Mexico City! We want you to know that it’s our top priority to be hands on hosts to help everyone feel comfortable while you’re planning travel and are physically in town. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to call or text either of us — we are here to help!

Travel Note

Passport Requirements

U.S. citizens must present a valid U.S. passport to enter Mexico. Please make sure that your passport is up to date and that it is valid for the length of your planned stay! If you need to go through the process of obtaining or renewing your passport, please keep in mind that processing times are taking longer than usual. Routine Renewal (6 to 9 weeks) Expedited (4 to 6 weeks)

Flight

Benito Juarez International Airport (MEX)

Also known as the Mexico City International Airport, MEX is about 30 minutes away from the heart of the city depending on traffic. If you land during rush hour times in the morning or afternoon, please be patient as it may take you up to an hour to commute in. American, United, Delta, and Aeromexico are the most reliable airlines to fly in and out of CDMX. If you're looking to save some cash, Viva Aerobus will get you safely to Mexico; however, please know that you are nearly guaranteed to experience delays of 45-minutes or even longer and will have to fly through SAT or MTY.

House Or Rental

airbnb

If you choose to not stay at the InterContinental, we recommend staying at an airbnb in the Condesa or Polanco neighborhoods which are nearby. There are some incredible options and beautifully decorated rentals at a great price!

Rental Car

Uber

Driving in Mexico City is not for the faint of heart, so we do not recommend renting a car. Please trust us on this one! That being said, we highly recommend you rely on Ubers during your stay here. Ubers are incredibly affordable compared to the US and easily accessible all over town! Be sure to download the app before your flight takes off from the states.

For all the days along the way
