FAQs

The Wedding Website of Analyssa Lopez and Louis McWilliams
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP via our website by Friday, August 7. If you do not RSVP by that date, we will assume that you sadly will not be able to join us!

Question

Can I bring my kids? Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a +1 or your kids are invited, this will be reflected when you RSVP. Due to space restrictions at the Madrid, we ask that only the people included on your RSVP page attend. We are so sorry that we couldn't be even more inclusive, but there will not be chairs or food for anyone not listed on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you're like Analyssa & Louis and perpetually late...aim for 1pm! Our ceremony is at a church, and will begin PROMPTLY at 1:30pm. Please allow for extra time parking, getting dropped off, or walking if you take the streetcar.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire (elegant/structured knee or calf-length dresses, blazer over dress shirts and dress pants). We'd also be so excited to see guests show up in bright colors and/or fun textures, patterns, or accessories if that feels fun for you! Absolutely no jeans or tennis shoes, please. There is a gap between our ceremony and our reception, so if you'd like to change between church clothes and party clothes that is an option as well (not at all necessary but who doesn't love a costume change!)

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not private shuttle service provided from the hotels, but all three hotels with a room block are in walking distance of a KC Streetcar stop, which is completely free to ride. The Armour (35th & Main) streetcar stop is a 10-min walk to the church, and the Westport (39th and Main) streetcar stop is a 3-min walk to the Madrid. Uber and Lyft are also a great option for an even shorter time in transit with no walking required!
