We're Getting Married!!!

Kyle and I met on the dating app called Hinge in January of 2022. We were originally supposed to have our first date at a local coffee shop on February 8th but I was so excited about meeting him, I for got I was in charge of 20 middle school age students for scholastic bowl and I had to reschedule. So we decided to meet at Obed and Iasac's later that week for dinner he actual had to work but came anyways. We shared the pretzel bites with beer cheese to start off the night. He ordered an ice tea with the Cheese Burger and a side of fries. I had a Raspberry Blonde IPA and the BBQ Pork & Pineapple Pizza. He'll tell you this is a cover up story to how we truly met but don't believe a word he says because that story is a straight up lie I promise! Anyways we spent the whole night getting to know each other and laughed at one another's stories and parted ways for the night. We had a few drop off dates where he would bring me chocolates with a soda and I would bring him leftovers from Cilca. We had dates at the Boars Nest and Hand of Fate for Trivia which he is absolutely horrible at. We then met each other's families in the month of March. He came over to my house one night for pizza and a movie (21) he surprised me with my favorite flowers (Lilies) and asked me to be his girlfriend on March 17 of 2022 and the rest is history.

What I thought was going to be just a nice Labor Day family vacation turned out to be something a lot bigger. We had just gotten done with our tour at the Buffalo Trace Distillery and were getting ready to head to Sevierville, Tennessee. My mom had told me that her and my sister Kelli wanted to get family photos with the mountains in the background while we were there and to pack a nice outfit. So I packed myself a nice little white sundress with a green shaw and thought nothing of it. When all of my family had time to catch up over wine and appetizers we started taking our family photos. I was getting ready to walk back inside the cabin when my cousin Savanna had to use the "oh hey look at that bird over there" trick because I didn't realize he was down on one knee already. I had turned around and *gasped* he said " Anabella Jeanette Lochmann will you marry me" I was in tears and of course I said "YES!" No I had not idea this was happening it totally caught me off guard and I can't stop watching the video! This was totally the high light of weekend! Kyle was nervous the whole ride up and even more the day of and he was all smile the rest of our vacation as was I! I still can't believe it!
