...in the most traditional way. Tinder. The courtship started with with a right swipe and then time getting to know one another over long-night phone calls and texts throughout the day. From our first date in 2017, a handful of dates in 2018, to Ana finally kicking things into gear in 2019 - the dating went on FOREVER. All until Ana finally realized the best way to get Billy to start moving forward was to lay claim to his apartment every weekend and help him get a dog - enter Bud. With our new golden retriever in hand and Billy in a 4th floor apartment, a house with a yard was needed. And while the original plan wasn't for Ana to move in right away, COVID and quarantine had other plans - so Ana laid claim to a few closets. 2020 laid the groundwork for what would be a learning experience for both of us and the realization we didn't want to kill one another after having to spend it with each other 24/7 for months on end. With this knowledge on hand, we knew we wanted to start a forever together. On October 13, 2020, Billy took a knee and proposed during a hike at Devil's Den at the Yellow Rock bluff overlook and received a "YES" followed by a question of whether the hike was going to be finished or not (typical Ana). We couldn't be more excited to see where the Lord takes us in our next season and are so blessed to have our family and friends by our side - lifted in prayer and support. Thank you so much for being a part of our lives and celebrating with us on our wedding day!
