Things To Do

The Wedding is not till 7:00pm on Saturday so we know you would like to know what things to do! Here are some of our favorite places!

Hermann Park

6001 Fannin Street, Houston, TX 77030
, (713) 524-5876

If you would like a place to go to the Park, go on some cool paddle boats, feed some squirrels, and explore some museums please enjoy yourself at Herman Park!

Menil Park

1423 Branard Street, Houston, TX 77006
, (713) 525-9400

If you want to come and lounge and have a picnic come to Menil Park! There is also a free museum! Very close by is Alabama Ice House with outdoor seating and the BEST Taco truck in town right next to it! If you want to have the Texas feel, take a stroll to this location!

Agora

1712 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77098
, (713) 526-7212

Want to enjoy a hipster part of town and go to grab some delicious coffee at the first place we met? Come on by Agora Cafe for a nice quaint and quiet place to sip some coffee (or maybe wine) at this cute coffee shop! Also within walking distance if you want food you can go to Cafe Brasil (cute outside inside place to eat some delicious and unique food) and you can also walk along Westheimer and go thrift store shopping!

Heights 19th Street Strip

Heights 19th Street Strip

239 West 20th Street, Houston, TX 77008

Want to enjoy a little shopping and strolling in and out of a few local art studios and boutiques? Stop in at a few cafes for an espresso at Boomtown Coffee or a glass of wine at the rooftop Harold's. Try a famous Torchy's Taco (we can't live without them) and ask them about their secret menu. 19th street won't disappoint. You'll be sure to see some funky things and leave with a full belly.

Ride Bikes along Buffalo Bayou

Ride Bikes along Buffalo Bayou

105 Sabine Street, Houston, TX 77007

Want the best Instagram worthy views of the Houston skyline? Come rent a bike at Buffalo Bayou and explore the trails under and around downtown Houston. You'll see beautiful views all along the looping trail and can even bring a blanket and snacks to rest in between for a picnic! Bike rentals are easy and affordable for a few hours. You'll love this option. Also a recommendation for any avid runners!

Discovery Green

Discovery Green

1500 McKinney Street, Houston, TX 77010

Discovery green is one of the best attractions in downtown Houston. You can visit here for lots of various weekend pop up events. There are a few good restaurants, a jungle gym good for young kids to play on, beautiful views of downtown, as well as a small lake. This event can also be your home base for walking and exploring downtown Houston.
