Jeremy is Joe's twin brother and lifetime best friend. He is incredibly teachable, kind-hearted, selfless, he loves Jesus with all his heart, and he is loyal to the end. During the past year, Jeremy and Joe's friendship deepened through the valleys they walked through, and although it was certainly tough, God used it to deepen their trust in him and strengthen their relationship with one another! For these reasons and more, Jeremy was an easy choice for the role of best man.

Joe and Ian met their freshman year at Cedarville and quickly became great friends. Ian's quick wit and depth of character was something that really stood out to Joe, and ever since they became friends Ian's godliness has sharpened Joe on numerous occasions. For these reasons and more, Ian was an easy choice to be one of his groomsmen.

Zach and Joe met during their freshman year at Cedarville. Zach's humility, kindness, and care meant a lot to Joe, especially in tough seasons. Zach is incredibly loyal and his care for others is unparalleled. For theses reasons and more, Zach was an easy choice for being one of Joe's groomsmen.

Evan Swanson

Evan and Joe met briefly their freshman year but reconnected in the beginning of their Junior year after Joe joined the same student org as Evan. From that point forward Joe and Evan's friendship developed quickly, bonding over shared interests, similar thinking, and a lot of laughter. God has used Evan's pastoral heart to minister to Joe during incredibly difficult times. For these reasons and more, Evan was an easy choice to be one of his groomsmen.

Shaun Mitchell

Shaun and Joe's friendship began during their junior year at Cedarville when Joe joined the same discipleship group as him. Shaun's clear passion for integrating his relationship with Jesus into everything he thinks and does along with his unbelievable ability to make Joe laugh hysterically made a friendship with Shaun one of the great joys of his time at Cedarville. For these reasons and more, Shaun was an easy choice for being one of his groomsmen.

Mitchell Hoezee

Mitchell and Joe's friendship began when Joe and Ana began to date in 2018. Right at the get go, Mitchell and Joe bonded through shared humor and passion for music. Later down the line, Joe and Mitchell's friendship continued to grow as they reached out to pray for each other and to provide wisdom during tough seasons. Mitchell is loyal, adventurous, and kind, and Joe is so thankful that their paths crossed. For these reasons and more, Mitchell was an easy choice to be one of his groomsmen.
