Volcan Pacaya
Approximately 1 hour and 15 mins from Antigua, Volcan Pacaya is 3.5 mile hike. There are different types of tours available on Viator or Tripadvisor that offer walking guides, horse back riding, ATV riding or a private vehicle tours if hiking isn't your speed. El Volcán Pacaya está a aproximadamente 1 hora y 15 minutos de Antigua. Ofreciendo 3.5 millas para escalar. Hobbitenango
Hop into the Shire and visit Hobbitenango! This magical land has themed restaurants, bars and plenty of activities to offer such as archery, axe-throwing, seven holes of mini-golf, faire games, and the largest tree swing in Central America. It is definitely recommended to take the shuttle from Antigua as its not the easiest commute up the mountain. Esta tierra mágica ofrece restaurantes temáticos, bares y muchas actividades cómo tiro al arco, lanzamiento de hacha, mini golf, juegos de feria y el columpio de árbol más grande de Centro América. Es recomendado tomar el transporte que ofrece Hobbitenango desde Antigua, ya que la subida a la montaña en vehículo común no es fácil.
Finca San Cayetano
Only thirty minutes away from Antigua, Finca San Cayetano offers panoramic views of the 3 Volcanoes (Fuego, Acatenango y Agua) as well as plenty of activities such as Coffee Tours, Horse back riding, Mountain bike riding and more. You can catch a bite at either their main restaurant or Volcania Lounge. If you feel like staying the night you can stay at one of their incredible cabins. Lake Atitlan
If you're visiting Guatemala for a longer period of time, you should definitely stop by Lake Atitlan, with its breathtaking views of the volcanoes and lake. It is located approximately 3 hours away from Antigua. Although it is surrounded by 11 charming towns, it is recommended to stop by Panajachel first, as it is the easiest to get to, with the most to offer. Due to the distance, it is recommended to stay at least one night at one of the many hotel. However, there are also many day trips available. Si van a visitar Guatemala por mas tiempo, definitivamente deberían pasar por el Lago Atitlán, con sus impresionantes vistas de los volcanes y el lago. Se encuentra aproximadamente a 3 horas de Antigua. Aunque el lago está rodeado de 11 pueblos coloridos, el pueblo más conocido y turístico es Panajachel.
