The Tamez Wedding

As many times as we passed by each other, not once did we truly see one another because God had a perfect time for everything. We went to the same school, shared the same halls, even sat in the same classrooms. Later, we ended up at the same college. And still, it wasn’t until two years later that, by God’s beautiful plan, our paths finally crossed the way they were meant to. People often ask us, “What’s the one thing that brought you two together?” Our answer will always be simple. God. From the very beginning, we built everything on Him our friendship, our relationship, and now, our marriage. He has been our foundation, our guide, and our greatest blessing. Every step of our journey has been marked by His faithfulness from the little moments that drew us closer, to the big prayers that shaped our hearts for one another. We’re so grateful that in His perfect timing, God allowed us to find not only love but purpose in each other. As we begin this new chapter, our desire is to continue to keep Him in the center of everything. The same God who brought us together, will continue to lead us through every season of our marriage. Because what began with Him, will always remain with Him Por tantas veces que pasamos uno junto al otro, ni una sola vez nos vimos realmente, porque Dios tenía un tiempo perfecto para todo. Fuimos a la misma escuela, compartimos los mismos pasillos, incluso nos sentamos en los mismos salones de clase. Más tarde, terminamos en la misma universidad. Y aun así, no fue hasta dos años después que, por el hermoso plan de Dios, nuestros caminos finalmente se cruzaron de la manera en que estaban destinados a hacerlo. La gente a menudo nos pregunta: “¿Cuál es la única cosa que los unió?” Nuestra respuesta siempre será simple: Dios. Desde el principio, construimos todo sobre Él: nuestra amistad, nuestra relación y ahora, nuestro matrimonio. Él ha sido nuestro fundamento, nuestra guía y nuestra mayor bendición. Cada paso de nuestro camino ha estado marcado por Su fidelidad, desde los pequeños momentos que nos acercaron, hasta las grandes oraciones que formaron nuestros corazones el uno para el otro. Estamos tan agradecidos de que, en Su tiempo perfecto, Dios nos permitió encontrar no solo amor, sino propósito en el otro. Al comenzar este nuevo capítulo, nuestro deseo es continuar manteniéndolo en el centro de todo. El mismo Dios que nos unió seguirá guiándonos en cada temporada de nuestro matrimonio. Porque lo que comenzó con Él, siempre permanecerá con Él.
