Northside Yacht Club
We stopped here for an after-dinner drink on our first date. Come for brunch, dinner, or drinks - it's all great. Bonus: our mutual camp counselor friend is one of the owners!
Taste of Belgium Rookwood
We seriously couldn't recommend a brunch spot we love more than TOB. As a heads up, plan to expect a wait when you go. Good news is that it's walkable if you're staying at the hotel!
Eli's BBQ
Best BBQ in Cincy! Although this tiny restaurant really comes alive during patio season, there's usually a crowd year-round. It's not far from the hotel and is worth a stop. Come hungry and BYOB!
Skyline Chili
This is about as Cincinnati as it gets! You'll find locations all around town, but this is your best bet if you're staying at the hotel.
The Hitching Post
Sometime back in the 1960's, Tom's grandparents opened this location. If you're in the mood for the "World's Best Fried Chicken" - or even if you just want to grab a quick and delicious breakfast - stop by! It's just down the street from the hotel.
Cincinnati Art Museum
This is where we got engaged! If you read our proposal story, you already know that you won't find many holiday decorations here, but if you're looking for a good museum, this is a great spot to visit. General admission is free!
Findlay Market
Findlay Market is a must-see if you've never been before. While it's definitely busier in the warmer months, there is still plenty to see in December. We recommend checking out one of the Frank Family's favorite merchants here: Market Wines. Afterwards, cross the street for some cheese from The Rhined and finish with beers and a game of corn hole at Rhinegeist Brewery (just down the block)!
Fountain Square
If you have some time, head downtown and go ice skating at Fountain Square. There's plenty else to do nearby as well!
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
Hey, it's still the holiday season - why not enjoy one of the best Christmas light displays in town?
MadTree Brewing
If you're staying at the hotel, this is one of our favorite breweries just down the street!
Streetside Brewery
This is a great brewery less than a quarter mile from our reception venue if you're looking for something to fill the time...

This charming bar is a great spot just over a quarter mile from our reception venue. You'll find great wine, beer, and cocktails here!

This post office-turned-bar is a great spot to "pop" in for a drink or a quick bite. This is another great spot less than a quarter mile from our reception venue!
