Newport Gilded Age Mansion Trolley Tour
There are a couple of trolley tours in Newport, and they are very popular!
Jamestown Newport Ferry
One of our summer favorites! Although the website says Jamestown, you can catch the ferry at either of the Newport stops and pay when you board. Five stops, hop on and off, including Jamestown, Fort Adams, downtown Newport, , Thames shopping area, and Rose Island with the lighthouse (separate landing fee per person applies to disembark on Rose Island). All day pass for this ferry, and definitely worth it!
Cliff Walk
Beautiful scenery! A 3.5 mile public walkway along the coast.

So many great shops! Up and down both ends of Thames, Americas Cup Ave, and don’t miss the quaint New England feeling of Bowen’s Wharf! Anchor Toffee is a favorite of ours. Looking to have a nice dinner? The Mooring or the Lobster Pot! Looking for a beer and a burger? O’Briens Pub or Brick Alley Pub! Drinks and an app? The Red Parrot, the Black Pearl, and The Reef.
