Commonly referred to as the “Great Minnesota Get-Together,” The Minnesota State Fair is the second-largest fair in America. Since the first official fair in 1859, Minnesotans and other Midwesterners visit the Minnesota State Fairgrounds each year to celebrate the history of the Land of 10,000 Lakes. We highly recommend going and experiencing the fair. You will not regret it. Bring an empty belly and great walking shoes!
Bde Maka Ska is just one of the many lakes in Minnesota, but it is very central and a great place to rent stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, pedal boats, and more. There is lots of food right near the lake and this lake connects to a few other lakes close by. A great place to get your steps in and enjoy the beautiful Minnesota summer.
