I

Jenn Cary

Maid of Honor

Jenn is Amy’s witty and thoughtful older sis. Growing up, Jenn organized a multitude of crafts and creative games and loved to teach her siblings what she knew. They both chose colleges in the Southeast and moved to California in their 20's. They enjoyed annual trips to Outside Lands in San Francisco, ski trips to Tahoe and holidays together on the West Coast. Amy continues to look up to her as an amazing mother and friend. She is lucky to have her as her Maid of Honor!

Warren Woodall

Best Man

Sarah Herrmann

Maid of Honor

Amy met Sarah as an infant. She lived next door until Sarah moved to The Netherlands in 3rd grade. They perfected the craft of snail mail and remained close despite living in many different areas of the world. They are always up for an adventure together whether it's dancing at a music festival in Chicago, backpacking around Mount St Helen's, seeing back to back shows at Red Rocks Amphitheater, learning Contra line dancing in Seattle or swimming in glacial lakes in New Zealand. While they've upgraded their communication styles with technology, they still appreciate surprise snail mail from each other.

Josh Heath

Officiant & Groomsman

Emily Hricko

Bridesmaid

Amy will always remember Summer 2005 fondly--living with James (her brother) and Emily (her future sister-in-law) on Long Island before heading to college. When they weren't camp counseling or babysitting, they played many games of 10-1, ate a lot of ice cream, cooked very cool dinners, binged watched old school Netflix and spent time at the beach. Since then, Emily has become a close friend--hosting many fun trips to Maine and visiting Amy on both coasts. She even forgave 17 year-old Amy for stealing her very stylish red coat on the day she flew to spend winter in Scotland. It was unintentional. And she does have impeccable taste.

Tom Van Schingen

Groomsman

Lauren O'Connor

Bridesmaid

Amy and Lauren shared a 1st year dorm and media studies class at the University of Virginia. They frequented concerts, jogged around Charlottesville, danced at fraternity houses and took over a literary magazine together. They remained close through Lauren's time in New York City and her eventual move to Los Angeles. Amy took Lauren to her first Burning Man festival and has been impressed by the survival and camping skills she has developed since. They always dreamed of opening a CD & coffee shop in Seattle one day. Despite both being old souls, they might need to revise this plan ;)

Brandon Goode

Groomsman

Brooke Lyn Meeler

Bridesmaid

Amy met Brookie through mutual friends at Burning Man. They deepened their friendship on a trip to Big Bear where they laughed relentlessly at jokes not everyone else understood. Since then they’ve had a large number of bizarre and unique experiences that always bring joy to reminisce about. After Brookie fell in love and moved to France, they have remained close—roaming the markets of Lyon, paddle boarding in New Haven and facetiming together with Brookie’s ball of sunshine daughter.

Robert Magness

Groomsman

Kristin White

Bridesmaid

Amy met Kristin while she was bartending in the blazing Nevada desert. Kristin was dressed as an Egyptian princess and it was very clear that her good friend, Tom, was smitten with her. She later discovered Kristin has curly blonde hair that matches her bubbly, generous heart and spirit. She is endlessly creative, a wizard in the kitchen, an incredible green thumb, the smartest massage therapist and such a joy to roll around laughing with.

James Nylund

Groomsman

Nicole McWilliams

Bridesmaid

Amy met Nicole through Billy’s best man, Warren Woodall. She wishes she’d met her sooner before moving away from the West Coast! Nicole is an incredible host–always making everyone feel cozy, well-fed and loved. She has great taste in movies and knows how to take over a jukebox at a dive bar. She is now a badass mother to a sweet baby boy and Amy apologizes that their wedding is on his first birthday.
