Hotel
Call for most up-to-date availability. Reference DeLeo/Sullivan Wedding or use SUL/DE code online. On the banks of the Kennebunk River, this historic resort captures the magic of Maine. We chose this place as our wedding site because it tells the story of our summers in Maine and recounts memories of where Amy spent her childhood. Lobster boats anchor nearby while recreational boaters motor out to sea. The beach is around the corner, and the scent of the ocean captures the essence of the New England coast. But sitting on the lawn to watch the tides rise and fall, may be all the vacation you need. The hotel is holding rooms during our dates under the Sullivan/DeLeo wedding. There is no discount on the rooms but there is also no minimum night stay. We have lower-priced options below as well.
Hotel
We chose this as a our welcome site as it's walking distance of the Nonantum (wedding site), with sweeping views of the coast. Another Maine classic, this hotel captures a piece of history, going back to 1872 when rates were $5/nt. The price has increased since then, but it may be worth it with all the activities like a pool, private beach, bike rentals, putt-putt golf, croquet, and much more. Please note that while the Colony is a beautiful historic hotel, it is not air conditioned.
Hotel
This hotel is a more affordable option and a 5-minute drive from the Nonantum. Quick tip, take the longer drive along Shore Rd to Ocean Ave to pass the Bush compound, and enjoy one of the most scenic drives in New England. They are also holding rooms under the Sullivan/DeLeo wedding.
Hotel
Classic seaside hotel, in the heart of downtown Kennebunkport, next to all the galleries, pubs, and seafood. 3 minute drive to Nonantum, 20 minute walk. Another more affordable option. No room block, book under general availability, 34 rooms total. Tip: it's a somersault away from the after hours party on wedding night.
