Airports

Asheville has its own regional airport (AVL). However, Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP - 53 miles) is the closest international airport followed by Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT - 95 miles). We recommend renting a vehicle, as the reception venue is a half hour drive towards the mountains from the church. 4WD not required.

The best place to stay really depends on what other excursions you want to enjoy when you’re in the Asheville area. With what we hope will be gorgeous Fall foliage at the time, we recommend booking a vacation rental with a view. Apps such as Airbnb and Vrbo have plentiful options in a wide price range. Sean and Amy are staying close to town and the church… because getting there is priority for them.
