Sayan's mother - the one to always count on for wise words, support, and regular phone call check-ins to make sure Sayan has food to eat for dinner (despite the answer always being a variation of "yes, I am an adult"). The best part? Ma laughing for minutes on end when trying to tell a joke (just like her mom did), without ever getting to telling the joke itself. Turns out it runs in the family with Sayan too!

Amy's sister for life, maid of honor for a day! This whole thing would be impossible without this one! Whenever Amy needs any support, she can always count on Krupa being right behind her. Baby sister, best friend, maid of honor, Krupa will always have a role in Amy's life.
Samit Sarkar

Sayan's brother and original partner-in-crime. Whether it was going head-to-head playing video games as kids (Samit always won until that one time Sayan figured out how to rig NHL '95 with wraparound goals), traveling across India and getting stuck in a boat in the Sundarbans (India's tiger-infested mangrove forest), or having political discussions that go nowhere, they always found a way to connect!

Amy's oldest friend! From playing habitat games in 3rd grade to becoming successful adults, Amy and Aditi have done it all together!

One of Sayan's oldest friends, and O.G. brother from the "mean streets" of New Hyde Park, NY (*cough* Compton '94 *cough*). Through thick and thin, and trips around the world, Dan has been a mainstay of Sayan's life for nearly 20 years!
Srinayani Marpaka

Amy met Srinayani in middle school and since then they have been sharing all their strange dreams including Amy's royal masquerade themed engagement party and Patel & Blank (stay tuned). These two have also survived driving almost 3,000 miles together (Amy did all the driving and Srinayani made sure she was well fed during it all)!

From basement ragers and broken walls (because of his subpar pong skills) back in high school to rooming together on the Upper East Side as they settled into steady careers and relationships, Jay has been a great friend - and steady stream of unsolicited Seinfeld and Frasier references.

One of Amy's high school trio and group of oldest best friends. Despite both Amy and Meera being in separate medical schools, they continued their friendship even taking a road trip to Montreal with more trips planned to come!

All the way from playing street ball as kids, to rooming together in NYC - and even that period when Vijesh decided Sayan's name would be "Guy" (Vijesh's reasoning: "If there was just ONE name in the world that anyone could choose, wouldn't you choose Guy?") - Vijesh and Sayan have always had a good time together.
Pooja Padgaonkar

Though Amy and Pooja knew of each other while at TCNJ, they did not become friends until they became roommates for medical school. They studied together, ate together, and always gave each other relationship advice. Amy forced Pooja to let loose and dance; Pooja forced Amy to come back home after her first date with Sayan lasted 6 hours.
Ryan Gehringer

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Ryan? 105.3 Radio, The Merk! Nothing brings back the good memories like jammin' all night with great tunes (which soon turned into "Ryan's radio station" 105.3). Though this "station" (aka Ryan's laptop) is now gone, this tradition has continued with the advent of shared Spotify playlists and made better when Sayan and Ryan find time to meet in person. They wouldn't have it any other way!

The cheesecake amongst all the brownies! Amy's tallest best friend! Sam has always been the voice of reason in Amy's life ever since she met her on the first day of medical school. These two are always there to support each other (including times when there are ripped tights involved and Amy practices her suturing skills to help Sam out)!

Robb (aka Nicholas Cage - you'll recognize it when you see him in person) has been a mainstay of the last decade of Sayan's life. Whether they were bonding over their mutual love of RHCP or meeting up in New York City (another mutual love, for obvious reasons), Robb and Sayan have always enjoyed their time together!

Amy and Erica were both sorted into the dolphin house as first year medical students and when they completed a painting together in the house competition, they became the best of friends. To this day if Amy had to pick a dance partner it would be Erica!
