What time zone is Syracuse, IN located?

Answer

Syracuse, Indiana is in the Eastern Time Zone and all wedding weekend events will take place in Eastern Time. Chicago folx, please take note of the time change!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

How should I get around town?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service for guests who are staying at (or near) the Brook Pointe Inn and Oakwood Resort (more info to come!) for the wedding, reception, and after party. However, it is recommended that you bring your own car, carpool, or rent a car to get around the lake towns surrounding Syracuse.

Is the wedding venue outdoors?

Answer

The wedding venue is indoor/outdoor. We are planning for the ceremony and cocktail hour to be outdoors and the reception to be indoors. If needed and recommended by CDC guidelines, all wedding and reception activities may be hosted outdoors. This change will be made closer to the wedding date. The Blue Barn Berry Farm is a beautiful venue, feel free to give it a google search!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the limited space at our venue, not all kids are invited. Please see on your RSVP which guest(s) are invited to the wedding and reception. The only event where NO KIDS are permitted is the Welcome Event on 7/23 (see more on our schedule page).

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are either of you changing your last names?

Answer

Nope! We like our last names, so we are keeping them :)
