For the safety of all of our guests, full Covid vaccination for all eligible guests (including a booster shot if eligible) is required. We encourage everyone to take an at-home Covid test before coming to the wedding events, if possible. You can find those at any pharmacy in Santa Barbara. All of the wedding events are outdoors, and all guests are welcome to wear masks as an extra precaution.
Godric Grove at Elings Park is located at: 1298 Las Positas Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93103. Get off the 101 freeway at Las Positas and drive south toward the ocean. The entrance to Elings will be on your left at a set of traffic lights. When you enter, keep driving to the top, eventually turning left and driving up to Godric Grove. Park in the lot just before the flagpole. We recommend taking a taxi, Uber, or Lyft if you're planning on drinking.
Please refer to your invitation, which will specify if you can bring a date. If you are unsure, please reach out to us.
Unfortunately we cannot have children at the ceremony or reception. If you need help with childcare, please let us know. Our recommendation is to work with your hotel to find a trusted, insured, and vetted babysitter who can stay in your hotel room while you are enjoying the evening. Children are welcome at the Welcome Dinner and Day-After Party.

Santa Barbara in October is fairly predictable - dry, warm days and cool nights. The average high for early October is 74 F / 23 C, and the average low is 58 F / 14 C. It can, however, get above 80 F / 27 C, so keep an eye out on the forecast. The ceremony and dinner site are both shaded.
There is parking - keep on driving to the top of Elings park to find the parking lot, it's just before the flag pole.
California is 8 hours behind the UK, so jet lag can make you especially tired in the evenings. We recommend arriving at least 2 days before the wedding to help get used to the time difference. Traffic from Los Angeles can be unpredictable, so if you're driving to Santa Barbara the day of the wedding, please leave a few hours earlier than needed to ensure that you aren't late or rushed.
