Since most of our friends and family live within an hour or two from the venue, Amy and Mark are not doing a hotel block. If you're traveling from outside of the Forsyth and Surry County areas and would like to book a hotel room on Saturday night, keep in mind the nearest hotel in Mt Airy will be about 20 minutes away from the venue.
If you'd like to stay in Mt Airy and do some exploring, be sure to walk around downtown "Mayberry" and visit some of the local shops on N. Main Street. Then, check out the Andy Griffith Museum full of "The Andy Griffith Show" artifacts and history. It's located at 218 Rockford St. And don't forget to make a stop at the Mayberry Courthouse and Jail at 625 S. Main St. and swing over to Wally's Service station next door to grab a bottle of pop.
If you would prefer to get back to city life, Winston is about 40 minutes down the road.
