Yosemite National Park requires a park reservation on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays August 17 through October 27. A reservation is not required on other days. Our Wedding Permit acts as a park reservation to enter the park for Saturday, September 28th. You will be given a copy of the wedding permit and one of our IDs to enter the park on Saturday. If you wish to explore the park on Sunday, September 29th, we suggest getting a park reservation soon as there is a limited number available (you can see the available number of spots remaining on the page linked below). The reservation costs $2 and is good for a 3-day period. Reservations are good for your entire vehicle of people, and you do not need one for each individual person. If you wish to explore the park before the wedding on Thursday or Friday, you will not need a reservation! If you wish to hike in Yosemite, we suggest bringing athletic shoes or hiking boots, water bottles, backpack, sunscreen, bug spray, and snacks. If you are planning to swim or float down the Merced river that runs through the Park, don't forget your sandals, towels, inner tubes, and coozies :) .
Probably not, but don't count it out! ;)
