How Jordan Wowed Amy.

Sometime in 2016, probably warm outside.

Amy and Jordan met while working at Big Woods Speedway, a local restaurant & brewery, despite her "allergy" to beer. Amy was an innocent hostess, stuck in one spot with no way to escape the onslaught of talking that follows Jordan. The first spark came when Jordan asked to touch her pants. Obviously, she gave the okay. "Weirdo." She thought, probably. This got the conversation going. He then found out that she was from New Jersey, that she works at the zoo, and that she was at least 21. With this new info, Jordan thought it would be fun to invite Amy out to the bars after work but unfortunately he didn't get her phone number. So he went to the bars without her but remembered around 1:30 AM that she really wanted to go out with everyone...still no phone number. So he got her number from the work scheduling app and proceeded to text her. She was asleep. The next morning after a long night, Jordan was awakened by texts from Amy! In disbelief and feeling a little ill, he sweet talked his way into her pool day. As quick as Amy could say "Am I going to regret this?" he grabbed his swim trunks, phone, no towel, and hopped in an Uber to the south side since his car was still at work from the day before. He arrived at the pool still knowing next to nothing about Amy and needing another conversation starter. "I got an iPhone 7 and it's waterproof." He proved it. "WOW!" She probably thought. Having had so much success with the previous two conversation starters he went all in on the third. "Do you want to have an underwater swimming competition?" Still knowing nothing about Amy, he swam 3/4 length of the pool and watched her pass him two times. "This guy might be an idiot, but he's funny!" Is what she thought, probably. That was all it took for her to invite him to lunch for some honey mustard salmon. After eating, they drove to work together and Jordan was promptly sent home for not showing up for the first half of his shift. Worth it.
