There are a few other hotels in the area where you can book. However, the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association National Trainers’ Show is in Shelbyville (closest big city to Petersburg) this same weekend, thus we’re having to go a little further out to be able to block off a set of rooms for a discounted rate.
