Wedding Party

We are so lucky to have these special people beside us to support us in our marriage.

Dru Rowan

Maid of Honor

Sister of the Bride. Watch out, she might be walking down the aisle with our family dog, Bubba, and the extended family of kitties that she loves and takes care of at home. I love how Dru loves Jake. Our little trio fills me up with so much love and happiness. The three of us were just meant to be. Dru also reminds me that the simplest things like, family and pets, are always enough. I can’t wait to have her memes and her silly laugh get me through the day! I love you Dru!

Courtney Eitzmann

Matron of Honor

Cousin of the Bride. Basically another sister and best friends since birth. I don’t think there are words for how special Courtney is and how she has supported me throughout life. I can’t wait for her kindness and silliness and her shoulder for me to cry on, on “the day”! I love you muchly Courtney!

Caitlynn Peetz

Bridesmaid

Sister of the Bride. Always there to talk about the dumb stuff we’ve both done and to vent to about life. “Tunic”, an inside joke....you had to be there. Our bond has definitely grow exponentially since we have both “grown up”, and I am so grateful our long and hard journey has brought us to this point. I know she will bring the strength I need for the big day. I love you Cait!

Julia Evertson

Bridesmaid

Sister of the Groom. Oh sweet Julia, she rounds out the variety of sisters I have. Sweet, funny, supportive, hard working, and girly! I know she will bring all the of the happy and positive energy to our day! She will also help me make sure all of my ducks are in a row and will help reassure me that everything is perfect and just as it should be for the day! I love you Julia!

Karson Roach

Personal Attendant

Best friend of the Bride. So many of my childhood memories include Karson. Like the time she printed out to the lyrics to one of my favorite songs, “Landslide” the Dixie Chicks version, and brought it to school in the second grade and made me sing it on the playground, or when we went to Ft. Collins for Karson’s birthday and Cassie Kennedy thought the Budweiser plant with a hospital. There are just way too many memories to count. Now that we’ve grown, Karson is still always there for me, and I feel like we’ve become closer friends as we move into our next chapters in life. I can’t wait for her to help me bring my vision of the wedding to life and to share this moment with her. It will add another memory to our collection. I love you forever Karson!

Riley Spicer

Best Man

Cousin of the Groom. My best and longest friend, and my favorite cousin (sorry other cousins). When I was growing up, whenever there were holidays or family gatherings with our side of the family, my first question was always whether Riley and his brother Tyler would be there. We would always pal around and go on adventures around our grandparents farm, and have continued to stay close throughout our whole lives. He looks up to me so much as his older cousin, he even copied my career path, and decided to become a teacher too.

Austin McCabe

Groomsman

Brother of the Groom. Technically step-brother, but I've known him since he was three years old, so he's been my brother for most of my life at this point. Ever since we were kids I've loved spending time with this ornery guy. Whether it was playing video games and convincing him he was actually in control of the computer character, or roughhousing and jumping on the trampoline, we've always been able to have a good laugh, often at his expense. Today he's all grown up and in the army and could beat me in a fight, so who's laughing now?

Ethan McCauley

Groomsman

Friend of the Bride and Groom. We met our freshmen year of college at the University of Wyoming in the fall of 2015. He lived two doors down from me in our dorm, and we both became friends with the guy who lived in the room between ours. Ever since we met, we've remained close friends. In fact, I was a groomsman in his wedding in the summer of 2020, and so this is me returning the favor.

Brandon VanDeMortel

Groomsman

Friend of the Groom. I met Brandon in my freshman year of high school, in woods class. He was in the grade above me, and we remained good friends throughout, and after high school. He came to the University of Nebraska Lincoln after high school, and we were able to reconnect when I came to Lincoln to finish school as well. My favorite part about being Brandon's friend is that he watches our cats whenever we leave town.
