What is the welcome dinner time and dress code?

Answer

The welcome dinner is open to all guests and will start at 6:00 PM. Please dress casually and don't forget to RSVP!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. We recommend you arrive no later than around 4:00pm.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Wingate Place on John's Island. Their address is 3850 River Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress code is "garden party attire". Semi-formal attire with bright or pastel colors, floral patterns, fun hats, fascinators, and shoes appropriate for walking around on grass and gravel are encouraged! Stilettos and other similar thin high heels might be difficult to walk in at this venue. While there's no need to go all out (unless you want to), we ask that you do not wear overly-casual clothing such as jeans, shorts, pants with holes, or t-shirts.

Can I bring a date?

Please talk with Amy beforehand if they are not listed on your invitation or if it has not been previously discussed. Specific numbers have been provided to vendors, and we need to stay within that guest limit.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is unlimited parking on-site at the location. There will be attendants or signs to point you in the right direction. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight and retrieve them the next morning.
