We suggest booking airfare and lodging ASAP since it is Voodoo Fest & Halloween weekend. Supposedly this ranks up there as one of the busiest times in NOLA just after Mardi Gras and Jazzfest. We also found less expensive airfare if you can depart on Monday or later.

A reasonable lodging option would be a private rental through VRBO or AirBnB. (There seemed to be more options on VRBO when we checked.) Make sure you put in the exact dates you're looking for. SInce it's considered a holiday weekend, most of the properties have 2 or 3 night minimum stay requirements.

We do not have a room block at this hotel but it is located less than a mile from The Terrell House B&B where the ceremony and reception will take place. It's also a good option outside the French Quarter where rooms will be much more expensive.
