Dámaso and Amy first met in August 2015. A few months later, they discovered they shared a special connection—his parents and her mother are both from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. As Dámaso during his Christmas trip there, he made the first move by sending Amy a message along with a photo of the Río Verde sign during his travels. From that moment on, they talked every day. Their first date was at a cozy Cuban coffee shop, where they discovered a mutual love for coffee and great conversation. As they continued spending time together, their bond grew stronger, and in March, Dámaso asked Amy to be his girlfriend. What began as a simple message blossomed into a beautiful love story. After ten wonderful years filled with laughter, adventures, and unforgettable memories, Dámaso surprised Amy with a proposal at a hot air balloon festival.
