We're getting married!

We met while both working at a German goods importing company in the summer of 2013. Many pieces of paper, jokes, paper air planes, glances, snarky comments, walks, lunches, coffees, and pranks were exchanged before we both realized this could be something more than a workplace friendship. We shared many similar interests, which included hiking, and when the falls at Minnehaha were frozen we decided to go there together to check it out, as friends. Both of us weren’t really sure what the other one wanted/intended, so the whole hike we were both nervous and cautious to mention anything. But we both went home with butterflies in our stomach and hope for a future. A couple weeks went by, and one Friday night after work we spontaneously decided to go check out the Stone Arch Bridge. By this time it was tangible that this was real and something was happening. We ended up at Pagoda in Dinkytown, and with a little liquid courage our true feelings came out and we became boyfriend and girlfriend.

Coleson popped the question when we were up in Northern MN at Itasca State Park. We were hiking at the headwaters of the Mississippi, and it was here that Coleson got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said YES and we immediately started discussing wedding ideas.
