Maid of Honor
Sister and best friend since 1988. She made me breakfast every day after I graduated from college. While she complained that I don't clean up after myself, she shouted, "Look at all the hair on our bathroom floor!" She loved me with care and selflessness. She's probably the reason why I don't appreciate acts of service, as if that kind of love language is a common trait to all human beings. She basically raised me through all her developmental stages, shaping both my craziness and my kindness.

The greatest source of encouragement and partner in God's kingdom. Sharon and I met in high school but we didn't begin to really know each other until after college in August 2013. A destined voyage from island to island while sharing our hopes and dreams, we shared a moment of divine connection. Since then, Sharon has been there in and through my most turbulent emotional seasons. No one compares to the way Sharon empathizes and cheers me on, helping me see the beauty and grace God has covered me with. This girl is my ride or die.

Provoker of freedom and the best housemate I'll ever have. Friendship has been so easy for us and in moments, it shocked us of how easy and good it's been between us. We were able to share our life stories, even intimate and personal ones. Erin is that friend who I can be honest with, like the kind of birthday present I want from our group of friends. She's the person that everyone goes to, everyone counts on, and I can fully trust. As Erin will be my last housemate ever, I move forward with so much satisfaction and joy that God prepared me for more through this kindhearted, patient, and cheerful woman of God.

Lucya is my sister from another mister, a friend I've held close and dear through distance and time. I told Lucya she was going to be my bridesmaid before I even started dating. She's that friend who I never felt disconnected from, a friend who I just KNOW will be with me until the end. She is the most beautiful, kindhearted, and patient person I've ever met. Just like all the boys in college were intrigued, I was intrigued by her wonderful presence. I won't be a Pak with her for very long, but I have been filled with pride and honor to share that last name with her for the last 8 years.

Sylvia gleams with cheer, excitement, joy, and excellence. I remember I used to visit LA so often after graduating from college that people began to believe I lived there. Sylvia and I joked that I could be that hermit who only came out to hang out with her. I seriously considered moving to Socal because of Sylvia! Sylvia was the most present during my transition from college life to living back at home, and I remember wanting to visit Socal every month just to see her. We get to celebrate two huge life events this year, continuing to walk through it together!

Grace has quickly become a close and dear friend and the truth is, she's probably everybody's close and dear friend. One of Grace's greatest quality is that she's able to give her best to her best so effortlessly. After traveling to Thailand together I knew that if she and I can survive an overseas trip together, we're pretty much gonna be lifelongers. It was not only easy but it was such an innate desire for me to ask Grace to be my bridesmaid. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without Grace by my side, hustling, yelling at people to get into line. But most of all, she's going to make sure that I feel loved and known. I love this girl to death!

Andrea is by far one of the most compassionate, God-loving, sincere, and kindest friend I know. Andrea and I grew close my junior an senior year in college, and she loved me in such a godly way. I remember the time she had to share with me a concern that only she had the courage, love, and wisdom to do. I know how hard it was for her to tell me the difficulty others had with me, but she took one for the team. I knew that it was only through love that she could do a thing like that for me. Not only will she be standing beside me as a friend and sister, but she'll be standing there with me as a mom! I thank her for her sacrifice to love others like Christ!

I'm so thankful for Mijin. She is the woman who God used to shape, soften, and grow Chung's love and outlook for women. I ugly cried when Mijin asked me to be her sister at the proposal, and I don't ugly cry for just anyone. Mijin's love and kindness made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I'm excited to start this journey with Chung, especially with his family because they are such a huge part of who Chung is.

my first memory of dan was when i was judging him in passing while he smoked a cigarette outside at our campus during our fall semester freshman year. now he's pastoring in san diego. God is real. Hallelujah.
