How we met.

Amy's "heck no!" became her "heck yes!"

Chung had moved all the way from Northern Virginia to San Francisco to start a new career and life. Along the way, he started attending Living Hope Christian Center. That is where Chung saw Amy for the first time and kept his eye on her for another year before he finally mustered up the courage to ask her out. In 2014, Chung rushed down the stairs of his place to ask Amy out on a date after a night of group hangout. Amy was reluctant, but said yes to his startling approach. The night of their first date was actually the night that Amy was accepted into art therapy school. However, it wasn't as eventful for Chung. The night ended with Chung being "friend zoned." Fast forward to December 2016, after Chung had moved on from being heart broken and ignored by Amy. On a fateful Christmas day, Amy gave Chung a ride home. Chung was encouraged and empowered to stay strong and surround himself with community. Something shifted in Amy's heart. Amy finally realized what an attractive and amazing guy Chung was on New Year's Eve, and the rest is history. Literally, a week later they began to officially date. Now they are getting married AND Amy is graduating from art therapy school! What a full circle and adventure it has already been. They are now excited for the journey of marriage and life together!
