Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes Please! We love little ones! However, please keep in mind that the ring ceremony will be approximately 30-45 minutes of sitting, so that might be tough for some kids. But if they like to eat and dance, and you can have a good time with your kiddos in tow, feel free to bring them along for the reception. We'll have some quiet activities available to help entertain them.

Why come to the temple if I can't go in?

Answer

Oooh a tricky one! Here's the thing: the temple is a very special and sacred place for us, so you must have a recommend to enter. We realize that not everyone is a member of our church or able to enter. However, we still want to share the excitement of emerging into the world as husband and wife. We want the people we love to share in those first thrilling moments with us, while also snagging some photos of the momentous occasion. However, we also completely understand if you would rather just meet us at Tanner Hall for the reception. We will be happy to see and celebrate with you, either way. :)

Is dinner provided?

Answer

We will serve light food and goodies during the reception, but there is no formal, sit-down meal planned. If you think you'll be starving by 7:30, feel free to eat an early meal before you come, or pick up something along the way. :)
