Privileges Aluxes

Privilege Aluxes is an optional all-inclusive, adult-only resort located on Playa Norte. It is located on the beach and walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shopping. We chose to book the Bed and Breakfast only package instead of the All-Inclusive Package because Isla Mujeres has so many wonderful restaurants and bars. However, you are welcome to book whatever package works best for you. Also, I recommend booking directly through the Privilege Aluxes website. Bookings directly through the website have free cancellation up to 2 days prior to your stay. Also, if you join the BePrivilege Club, you receive an additional 3% off your stay. Privilege Aluxes is a very popular hotel on Isla Mujeres. If you feel there is a possibility you may wish to attend, I encourage you to book through their website to take advantage of the free cancellation up to 2 days prior to our visit. If the hotel sells out or you prefer another property, Airbnb is a good resource for alternative lodging. I recommend you try to find a place as close to Playa Norte as possible. This is where the majority of the restaurants, tour companies, bars, and shops are located.

Shuttle

Shuttle From Airport to Puerto Juarez

Isla Mujeres is a small island located just off the coast of Cancun. To get there, you must take a ferry from Puerto Juarez terminal to Isla Mujeres. The best way to get to Puerto Juarez from the airport is by shuttle service. Shuttle service holds up to 10 people and may be able to be shared between guests depending on flight schedules. Ferry

To get to Isla Mujeres from the mainland, you take a 20 minute ferry ride from Cancun, Puerto Juarez ferry terminal to Isla Mujeres ferry terminal . Tickets may be purchased online or at the ticket counter ($24 USD Roundtrip) . I recommend booking online so that your return barcode can be stored on your phone instead of having to keep up with your return ticket your entire trip. To purchase tickets online, visit: Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, you can either take a taxi located at the ferry entrance or take a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. To walk to the hotel, take a left when you exit the ferry terminal. You will walk along the sidewalk until you reach the Privilege Aluxes hotel.
