Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will walk down the aisle with us!

Malea "Lea" Maynard

Matron of Honor

Lea is my dear sister, who has been so loving and supportive through all of my challenges in life! She and her family have been so welcoming to Andy and agree that he is already a great "fit". They were the first to know about the engagement (after Amy's mother, Irene) which happened Thanksgiving weekend in Texas.

Timothy Day

Best Man

Tim Day gets credit for reconnecting Andy and Amy after thirty years at what is now fondly referred to as "sushi night" in January 2018! We are highly amused that, on that night, Amy commented, "Andy Allen, how is it possible that you are still single?", without even having him on her "radar" because he lives 500+ miles away.

Eileen Bujno

Bridesmaid

Eileen has been a best friend of Amy's for, let's say, a long time. She is the kind of friend who will come to the rescue when called at 4 AM for a medical emergency! She has stood by Amy in good times and in heart-wrenching sad times, and is a blessing to be so supportive of this new Love between Amy and Andy in this new season of life!

Maya Wilcox

Bridesmaid

Maya is a high school friend of both Amy's and Andy's. She was at the famous "sushi night" at which they reconnected, and nudged the couple by saying to Amy "You know Andy can swing dance, don't you?" Amy has a love of ballroom dance, considering it one of her reasons for living! In the midst of grieving the loss of her beloved husband, Lou, and the stress of elder parent care, it was a huge comfort to have the support of her old friends, again, after so many years apart, and "dance visits" sounded like a great distraction from her troubles! Maya has been one of the best cheerleaders of this "young couple", as their romance blossomed....

Colleen Reynolds

Bridesmaid

Colleen has been a dear friend of Amy's for many years, and is partially responsible for Amy's love of dance! She was one of Amy's favorite dance instructors at the Portsmouth Ballroom, exposing her to the magic of west-coast swing, in particular. She has also been one of Amy's best cheerleaders over time, and helped instigate the best surprise bachelorette weekend, ever!

Leslie Feliciano

Bridesmaid

Leslie has proven to be a treasured friend in more recent years, being another of Amy's best cheerleaders through thick and thin. She has been instrumental in the super surprise bachelorette weekend, and helping Amy create her wedding outfits. She shows infinite patience and enthusiasm for Amy's wedding planning and dreaming, always helpful with suggestions, advice and resources (photographer, florist, videographer, etc.), being the owner of Boutique Leslie in Dover, NH!

Thomas Allen

Groomsman

Tom Allen is Andy's older brother. Throughout the decades, along with uncountable shared family moments, both happy and sad, Tom and Andy have shared an inseperable brotherly bond. Tom was one of the first people to know of Andy's intention to ask Amy to marry him and was one of the first to know when Andy finally popped the question to Amy!

Joseph Balinfy

Groomsman

Joe and Andy have been friends since they were teenagers. Joe and Andy have a friendship founded on the experience of working together in their younger years as well as sharing many good times together, to include two decade's worth of Biohazard weekends at Deep Creek Lake in McHenry, Maryland.

Chris Wilcox

Groomsman

Chris and Andy have been friends since their 20s. Chris is the husband of Andy's childhood friend Maya Wilcox. Andy and Chris have a friendship built on the firm foundations of appreciation for fine beer, good music, and English Premier League football. Andy has also long admired Chris's deep and nuanced appreciation of English cricket, a sport that Andy has always found mystifying.

David Pinion

Groomsman

Dave and Andy have been friends since their early teenage days. Their freindship is a rich one, one built on the shared experience of junior high and high school, numerous common friends, appreciation of the punk, post-punk, and new wave music of the 80's (Ramones!) table-top strategy games, theater, puns and word play, and too many sci-fi movie franchises to mention.
