Flight
For our Irish guests, direct flights are available from Dublin. For our English guests, there are frequent direct flights to Lisbon from London, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from Newcastle at the moment. For our guests coming from further afield, we recommend checking Skyscanner or similar for appropriate flights. Once you arrive in Lisbon, the city centre is just a short journey from the airport. We recommend using a taxi, with the Bolt or Uber app being a convenient and affordable option - this will be cheaper than airport taxis. The ride to the city typically costs around €10, and it will take you directly to your accommodation. We are planning to celebrate our wedding from Thursday 11th-Saturday 13th June so we would love if you could join us on these dates.
Hotel
We have visited this hotel and think it would be a great option for us and many of our guests to stay for the duration of the wedding. It can be booked through various booking sites or directly on the Locke website. If you sign up as a Locke member via the website or use the code LIVELOCKE, you will get 10% off your stay. The hotel is an 18-minute car journey from our wedding venue. Airbnb is another option if guests would like alternative accommodation. Location wise, we recommend the Bairro Alto, Chiado, Rossio or Príncipe Real neighbourhoods. However, as mentioned, Lisbon is very accessible via public transport or taxi.
