Hotel
This is where Amy stayed way back in 2013 when she was looking for her first place to live in San Diego. It's been revamped since then, but it's still a cool, mod hotel with a fun vibe. There is a bunch of great food and coffee within walking distance on El Cajon Blvd and Park Blvd (like Flavors of East Africa, Awash, Coffee & Tea Collective, and Clos Wine Shop).

Jeff and Amy's second apartment together was in Little Italy during pandemic, an amazing time to be downtown. It was just lively enough to be enjoyable and without the crazy partiers that usually spill over from Gas Lamp. If you've never staid in Little Italy, we highly recommend. Check out Mona Lisa Deli, Vino Carta, and Bottlecraft while you're there. And it's only a 9 min drive from the party venue, Liberty Station.

We've never staid here, but Sunset Cliffs is absolutely beautiful and worth the visit, and this is a super cute spot we've seen when walking along the cliffs. Not far from the main streets of Ocean Beach so you can enjoy some good coffee at OB Beans, delicious tacos at really any of the taco spots, or just sit on the beach and people watch. OB is one of a kind.

Want to literally walk out of the hotel lobby and into the party on Saturday?? Stay at this Courtyard Marriott in Liberty Station. Liberty Station is on a channel that flows out into the harbor so you can enjoy some paddle boarding or have a drink on the lawn. The Liberty Public Market just a walk away has tons of food vendors, a coffee shop, a bar, and an outdoor area that allows pets. It's a super fun spot to people watch and enjoy the weather.
