Laura Esquivel
Bride
Laura Esquivel was born in San Nicolas de Los Garza Mexico and raised in Harlingen Texas. Laura grew up with a passion to help others. She has an interest in improving physical and mental health disparites. To this end she finds purpose and fulfillment in her social work career. She moved to New York in 2016 to purse her PhD at NYU. When her friend Grace visited Laura met Charlie at Bar 169. The two bonded over history and a mutual appreciation of art. The couple quickly became enamored and were inseparable from the start. Charles introduced Laura to baseball and Lord of the Rings and Laura introduced Charlie to travel, brunches, and themed dance parties. Laura loves Charlies company as he makes her world brighter and most importantly he makes her feel loved and appreciated. When Laura is not spending time pursuing her career or loving Charlie she enjoys making and admiring art and photography. She loves to be creative and looks forward to weekend activities with Charlie.
Charles Ganley
Groom
Charles Ganley was born in Albany NY and raised in the Captial Region with his Mother Debbie in Scotia and his Father Micheal in Hudson. After college he moved to New York City to pursue a career in architecture. One fateful night while in Manhattan with his college friends he met Laura. After their meeting you can say the rest is history. They have traveled to many places together, from Dublin, to Mexico City and San Juan. Charlie has even brought Laura into baseball (a religion in the Ganley Family, LGM). Charles told Laura on the day he met her, " I hope you like baseball". Since that fateful date the couple has attended countless games. Charlie loves the simple things from relaxing at home, sharing a beer with friends and family, the apple rising at Citi field, the completion of a building project and of course his beautiful Laura.
Denise Dee Rangel

Laura's Wedding Party would not be complete without her her childhood Best Friend Denise. Their beautiful and long friendship started back in 5th grade in Mrs. Conway's class at Bowie Elementary. Denise Dee Rangel is the sweetest best friend a girl could ask for. Through the years she has provided the best active listening and supportive advice and is always a excellent guide and friend to Laura. Denise was born and raised in Harlingen. She is married to Herman Gonzalez and has two beautiful daughters. She enjoys traveling and fashion.
Michael Weglarz
Best Man
The Brother from another mother! Among Charlie's Closest friends since the day they met in Delhi. He is always the life of the party and gets everybody going. He is very easy to talk to and listen and be honest about any situation your in. He is from Massepequa Park NY and shares in Charlie's suffering over the Jets and the Mets. He was also present at the first meeting between Charlie and Laura.
Gloria Esquivel

Gloria is Laura's eldest sister and best friend. She has been her role model, her confidant, and her close friend. She is supportive, generous, and beautiful inside and out. Gloria lives Harlingen Texas and is a proud mother of two kids. Gloria is a proud veteran now working for the Harlingen VA. She enjoys spending time at home decorating, doing her nails, and traveling with her daughter Karla who is a grade A chef.
Grace Escareno

Laura cant say enough nice things about Grace. She is sweet and generous. She is thoughtful and fun. Anytime with Grace is a good time. Laura and Charlie like to think of Grace as their Fairy God Mother! Thanks to her Charlie and Laura met that fateful December day at Bar 169. Grace's spontaneous planning and fun loving nature was the catalyst to their meet cute. Grace is from Harlingen but now thrives and calls Austin her home. She enjoys traveling, live music shows, and spending time with her nieces and family.
Robert Ganley

The younger brother of the groom. He has stuck by Charlie through thick and thin and has always been supportive. He is a very passionate and generous person and is passionate about music and his horror movies. He has a lovely wife becky and they both live in Charlie's hometown of Scotia NY.
Jose Ferman

Jose has been one of Charlie's closest friends for the last 10 years. A friendship that was founded on Integrity Honesty and Brotherhood. He always looks out for other people and they have supported eachother through the years. He is from Freeport NY and is very passionate about his cooking and engaged to his lovely Fiancee Diana.
Vanessa Lopez

Vanessa and Laura are both Capricorns who met in their early 20s. Vanessa helped Laura get a job at Sprint where she and Laura bonded over how to make money via cellphone sales. Vanessa is an ambitious and hardworking young lady and these traits are shared with Laura. Their younger years were spent painting the town red dancing and socializing at Medusa's and other fun establishments. Laura and Vanessa have formed a strong friendship bond over the years that has withstood the test of time. Vanessa has always strongly supported Laura and provided a shoulder to cry or smile upon. Vanessa is now a boss babe working in a peak management position at T-Mobile in the Missouri area. She has won numerous awards for her leadership, management, and sales skills. Most recently earning a trip to Hawaii!
Angelo Mihail

Charlie and Angelo have known each other since his first year in college. It began with hanging out in the architecture studio while working on intensive projects. Eventually, Angelo would graduate from Delhi, but the following fall learned that Charlie was pledging to the fraternity he was already in; from then, the two's friendship grew, and they got into all kinds of adventures, eventually joined by Michael and Jose. Angelo was born in Greece but spent most of his life in Queens, NY. Angelo will be attending with his lovely girlfriend, Kayla.
