When and where will all the celebrations be taking place?

How do I book a room/suite at the resort?

Answer

To secure your accommodations at a special rate, we've arranged a room block at The Fives. Simply book through our travel partners at Paradise Weddings—you'll find the booking link in the "Travel" section of our wedding website. Please note, to secure accommodations at our special group rate, please book by June 1, 2026, and ensure full payment is completed by August 1, 2026.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Round trip transportation from the Cancun airport to the resort will be coordinated. See "Travel" section for more details. The resort has golf carts that can take you around the resort, including our ceremony and reception. Pick up area will be outside of your villa. You can also call the front desk to let them know that you need to be picked up so that they send over a driver.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, weather is relatively warm in Mexico during the fall since its hurricane season. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and bathing suits. Keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure that you plan and pack accordingly.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail / Resort Formal Please dress elegantly for an evening celebration—lightweight fabrics, floor length or cocktail dresses, and polished looks encouraged. Please avoid shorts, casual sundresses, flip-flops, or beachwear. Think elevated, breathable, and chic for a warm night in Mexico.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors by the beach and rooftop areas, weather permitting.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediately after the ceremony, we will want a group photo of all the guests (location TBD). After the group photo, the bridal party and immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can walk over to the reception area (about 5 minute walk away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. See Schedule section for more details. Reception will be start around 7 pm, with dancing to follow.

How do I RSVP?

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for your special day. With your invitation, there is an RSVP card that you can fill out and return, or feel free to let us know your plans right here on our website (RSVP section).

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Our wedding RSVP deadline is July 1, 2026. To secure accommodations at our special group rate, please book by June 1, 2026, and ensure full payment is completed by August 1, 2026.

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

While our resort is wonderfully family-friendly and perfect for a vacation, our wedding celebrations will be an adults-only event, with just a few children from our immediate family and wedding party in attendance (hint: they’re included in your invitation). We made this decision thoughtfully. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this special moment with you!

Are there child care options during the events?

Answer

PLAYHOUSE (4- 12 years): • Open: 9:00 hrs - 17:00hrs & high seasons 18:00hrs - 21:00hrs *subject to availability • Daily supervised activity program • Exclusive pool and play area • Video games, games and arts and crafts area • A digital or hard copy of the child’s passport is necessary for identification • Special hours for children under 4 years old, from 9:00 hrs - 17:00hrs. They require parent supervision or the hiring of a babysitter service for an additional charge. TEENS CLUB (For ages 13-17): • Open: 15:00 hrs - 22:45 hrs • Daytime activity center for teenagers. • Equipped with Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and more. BABYSITTING: • Babysitting (0-3 yrs old): $20 usd per hour per kid, maximum 2 babies per sitter. • Babysitting (4-12 yrs old): $10 usd per hour per kid, maximum 3 kids per sitter. • After 9:00 pm guest should pay an extra fee cash for the sitter’s taxi. • Reservations must be at least 24 hours in advance of the service, it is requested directly at Aluxitos (Kids club). • In case the service is canceled, the minimum time to do it is 5 hours prior to the time of service, otherwise the first hour will be charged. • In case the service is requested the same day and canceled prior to the start time, one hour of service will be charged. • Babysitting cannot go off the property. • Kindly note that Babysitting services are subject to availability and must be arranged directly at the Kids Club center once guests are at hotel.

Can I bring an additional guest?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Cermony is wheelchair accessible. Reception is on the rooftop. There is an elevator to go up to the top floor, but there are a few steps to take once you arrive to the rooftop area. If you need assistance, please let us know in advance so we can try to accommodate your needs with the resort.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

We’ll be serving canapés during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious buffet dinner, and of course dessert.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Resort is all inclusive, so premium alcohol will be open bar for our guests. No need to worry- you can have as many as you’d like. Please don’t forget to tip our bartenders.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. This means we ask that all guests refrain from using phones, cameras, or other devices during the ceremony. We want to fully embrace the moment and allow our professional photographer to capture the beauty of our special day without distractions. For all other celebrations (cocktail hour, reception, etc), take all the photos! We'll share a link to where you can upload them so we can cherish all the memories for years to come. We appreciate your understanding and support, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Can I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?

We love photos! We do kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #KassyWinsGuerra so we can see them, too!
