We met at a Greek life conference organized by our college, and at first we were not very fond of each other due to our opposite personalities. We ended up bonding over deep similarities that we share and left that trip feeling an indescribable connection with one another. A few weeks after our trip, we went on our first official date which consisted of half priced apps at Applebees. We plan on getting Applebees again the night before our wedding day to celebrate.

Isaac wanted to go walk Sheldon Marsh, a nature preserve near Sandusky, OH, after I got off work. We walked a path that leads to a beach on Lake Erie, and he had us both looking for the “sea glass” you can find stuck in the sands from the tide. He told me to turn around because he found a piece, and when I did he was down on one knee. I was very shocked and gladly said “YES!”
