FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that you wear semi-formal attire to complement the elegance of our celebration. To help create a cohesive and beautiful atmosphere, we'd love for you to choose from our color palette of greens, browns, tans, and metallics. Please avoid red and burgundy, as these colors are reserved for our wedding party. Since our florals will be monochromatic, this approach ensures our photos remain beautifully coordinated and that every guest shines in the setting. For style inspiration, feel free to explore our dress code Pinterest board here: https://pin.it/3RcfM5MkL

Question

Are kids welcome

Answer

No. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! So we are not allowing any children under the age of 16.

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

RSVP directly on our wedding website. If you have any trouble, you can call our wedding planner, Jenna Culver with Less Stress Wedding, at 505-393-3493. Or email her at jculver@lessstresswedding.com

Question

Can we fly into Santa Fe?

Answer

Most visitors to New Mexico fly directly into the Albuquerque Sunport Internationals Airport. But Santa Fe does have its own airport as well. Flying directly into Santa Fe is easy and convenient. The local airport is Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF). Guests can usually connect through major hubs like Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, or Houston and land just a short ride from most hotels and venues. For those who prefer a low-stress travel day with minimal driving after landing, flying straight into SAF is the best option.

Question

What is the Chinese Tea Ceremony and will you be having one?

Answer

One of the most meaningful parts of our wedding day will be a Chinese tea ceremony, a tradition that honors our families and symbolizes the joining of two households. During this intimate moment, we will kneel or bow and serve tea to our parents and elder relatives as a gesture of gratitude and respect, thanking them for their love, support, and guidance. In return, they will offer blessings and well-wishes for our future together, often accompanied by red envelopes or small gifts that represent prosperity and good fortune. This ceremony is a quiet, heartfelt pause in the celebration, and a beautiful way for us to carry forward cultural tradition while beginning our married life side by side. We will be having a small tea ceremony with very close family prior to the ceremony. Guests invited to the tea ceremony will receive a specific invitation.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After "I Do," we'll head straight into cocktail hour and dinner - no travel needed between locations.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The reception will wrap up at 10:00pm and then Married Life will begin! So get ready to dance the night away.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

As much as we'd love to celebrate with everyone we know, our venue has limited space, so we can only accommodate the guests formally invited. No additional plus ones can be accommodated. Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Are you having a Welcome Party?

Answer

Wedding days go by so fast. So guests are encouraged to stop by for Welcome Drinks with the couple at La Fiesta Lounge in La Fonda on the Plaza from 6pm-10pm on Thursday to catch up and express well wishes before their big event.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do have a registry set up on Zola with a couple of group gift items. We have a cash fund, but Zola charges a BS 2.5% on credit card charges, so please use Venmo, Zelle, or you can give us cash! For our honeymoon, we have chosen Southern Spain and Morocco. From exploring the charming streets of Seville to wandering the vibrant souks of Marrakech, this region is filled with culture, history, and adventure. If you’d like to help us make this dream trip a reality, we’d be so grateful for any contribution to our honeymoon fund — thank you for being part of our celebration!
