Question

Do I need to attend every event?

Answer

All of our wedding events are detailed on the Schedule page. While we would love to have everyone at every event, we know that it is a busy few days and many of you will want to explore the area as well. If you cannot attend every event please prioritize attendence at the American Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. Let us know which specific events you intend to attend when you RSVP so we can have an accurate headcount.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremonies and cocktail hour are intended to be outside weather permitting. The reception will be in a tent. New England weather in the fall is varible, please dress accordingly.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

There are three airports convinenet to Sunapee NH all listed below with approximate drive times to the venue. If you would like to carpool with other guests we can help to make those connections. - Boston Logan Internation Airport - 2 Hour Drive - Portland International Jetport - 2 Hour Drive -Manchester Boston Regional Airport - 1 Hour Drive

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

Sunapee is a small town with limited public transportation. The best way to get to and from the venue is by car. There will be plenty of parking onsite. We will not be providing any transportation to and from the venue.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children all welcome at our wedding and each child over the age of 1 will have their own seat. Highchairs or booster seats will not be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Are there any cultural traditions guests should be aware of?

Answer

We will be having a combination of traditional Maharashtrian and American wedding events. The dress code for each event is listed on the schedule page. The bride and groom will both be wearing traditional Indian as well as American wedding attire. Please refrain from wearing white/cream.

Is anyone changing their last name?

Answer

While neither of us are going to leagally change our last name we have decided to adopt a new family last name, Pausthali.
