Philadelphia

The Birthplace of America

Walk on the same cobblestone streets as America’s founding fathers around Independence Hall, check out the Liberty Bell, and the Constitution Center. There are countless organized tours offered in the city, or you can easily explore on your own. Perfect for all the history buffs out there!

Food & Drink

Going out for a nice drink and good food is one of our favorite things to do! The Philly food scene flys under the radar, but has some of the best food in the country. Check out places around Rittenhouse for a chic atmosphere, or Fishtown for hip bars and restaurants. Our personal favorite is Pizzeria Beddia! But don’t forget to grab a Philly Cheesesteak or Roast Pork Sandwich!

Philly Waterfront

Spruce St. Harbor Park offers outdoor entertainment with boardwalk like activities along the Delaware River. Great for families! Conveniently located right next to the Hilton Penn’s Landing.

King of Prussia Mall

For all the shopaholics and fashion people, King of Prussia Mall is just a hop, skip, and jump away from the city. It is one of the largest in the area, and has a variety of shopping options, as well as some solid spots for food and drinks. Top Golf is also nearby, and a fun activity for the whole family!

New Jersey

Jersey Shore

Choose from a variety of beautiful beach locations along the Jersey Shore for a relaxing day with family. Options range from Point Pleasant to the southern tip of Jersey in Cape May. Sheena’s top pick is Asbury Park, known for its great beach, lively boardwalk, and the iconic Stone Pony music venue, made famous by Bruce Springsteen.

Princeton

Grab some ice cream from the popular shop, The Bent Spoon, and walk around the historic architecture and gardens of Princeton University.

Jersey City & Hoboken

For the New York City views, while in New Jersey, travel to Jersey City or Hoboken. Visit Liberty Science Center with the kids and then visit one of the many delicious restaurants in the area! (We recommend Razza and Porta if you’re looking for some yummy pizza, DOMODOMO for some delicious sushi, or Orale for some solid Mexican and Margs!)

Six Flags Great Adventure

A great day trip, Six Flags offers fun roller coasters, immersive attractions and entertainment for the whole family! With a wide variety of rides and events there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Outlet Mall Shopping

For all the shopaholics out there, outlet mall shopping is a staple in Jersey! Go to Jackson Premium Outlets after a fun day at Six Flags or head of the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets after a beach day. Remember, there is no sales tax on clothing in NJ so check out your favorite brands!
