“Thought I found the perfect match till I realized you’re a Giants fan… GO BIRDS!” From there, a “friendly” rivalry was born, and Amit’s Eagles and Sixers vs. Sheena’s Giants and Nets would soon create a house divided. Despite the little rivalry, our mutual love for sports sparked a connection that grew into something much deeper. Our first date at Flying Fish Brewery—where we were the only ones on the tour—was a start to remember. We learned a lot about their brews, but even more about each other. We discovered we both appreciate a good beer, delicious food (Asian or Mexican, preferably!), and agree that Marvel reigns supreme over DC. But it wasn’t just about our likes and dislikes - it was about the love and warmth we found in each other. It was the realization that we both valued the incredible family and friends we have in our lives. Fast forward to a winter day in Philly. As we strolled around the holiday village and made our way to see a “special Christmas light display,” Amit got down on one knee with the city lights behind him and asked Sheena to be his forever. It was a moment straight out of a fairytale, and she said yes without a moment’s hesitation. As we start this next journey together, we are filled with excitement and joy. Our wedding day is about more than celebrating our love; it’s about joining our lives in front of our cherished family and friends who support and surround us every day. We can’t wait to dance the night away and party with each and every one of you as we embark on this beautiful adventure!
