Im Oktober 2017 begannen wir, gleichzeitig Japanologie in Tübingen zu studieren. Zu Beginn konnten wir uns nicht leiden und gingen uns aus dem Weg – wie wir erst 2 Jahre später erfahren würden völlig grundlos. An Halloween 2018 besuchten wir beide eine Party mit unseren beiden Freundesgruppen. Danach bot Jenni einer hungrigen Amina Essen an – ein Friedensangebot? Nell’ottobre 2017 abbiamo iniziato entrambe a studiare il Giapponese a Tubinga. All’inizio non ci sopportavamo e ci evitavamo – senza motivo, come avremmo scoperto due anni dopo. Ad Halloween 2018 siamo entrambe andate a una festa con i nostri rispettivi gruppi di amici. Jenni ha offerto del cibo a un’affamata Amina – un’offerta di pace? In October 2017, we both started studying Japanese Studies in Tübingen at the same time. At first, we couldn't stand each other and avoided one another – as we would only find out two years later, there was no reason to. On Halloween 2018, we both attended a party with our respective groups of friends. Afterwards, Jenni offered a hungry Amina some food – a peace offering?

Ab März 2019 studierten wir ein Jahr lang in Japan und hatten dort mehr miteinander zu tun. Bei einem Wanderausflug kamen wir ins Gespräch, und kurze Zeit später verbrachten wir auch freiwillig mehr Zeit gemeinsam. Unser erstes Date, welches noch nicht als solches bezeichnet wurde, war beim Kaffeetrinken. Am 6. Juli, dem Tag des Kusses, kamen wir uns zum ersten Mal näher, und am nächsten Tag wurden wir ein Paar. Eine der schönsten Erinnerungen in Japan war unser erster gemeinsamer Urlaub, wo wir 3 Tage in Wakayama verbrachten. In Japan stellte sich auch heraus, dass wir bereits 2014 auf der Quizduell App unbewusst Kontakt miteinander hatten! A partire da marzo 2019, abbiamo trascorso un anno in Giappone. È stato lì che abbiamo iniziato ad avere più a che fare l’una con l’altra. Durante un’escursione abbiamo cominciato a parlare, e poco dopo abbiamo iniziato a passare più tempo insieme. Il nostro primo appuntamento — anche se all’epoca non lo chiamavamo così — è stato da Starbucks. Amina ha invitato Jenni, e Jenni le ha regalato un disegno in cambio. Poco dopo è arrivato il 6 luglio, il giorno del nostro primo bacio. E il giorno successivo, il 7 luglio 2019, siamo diventate una coppia. Uno dei ricordi più belli del Giappone è stato il nostro primo viaggio insieme, durante il quale abbiamo passato tre giorni a Wakayama. In Giappone abbiamo anche scoperto di aver avuto un contatto inconsapevole già nel 2014 — su un app per fare quiz! Starting in March 2019, we spent a year studying in Japan. It was there that we started interacting more with each other. During a school hiking trip, we began talking, and shortly after that, we started spending more time together. Our first date, though we didn’t call it that at the time, was at Starbucks. Amina invited Jenni, and in return, Jenni drew something for her. Not long after came July 6th, the day of our first kiss. And the very next day, on July 7th, 2019, we became a couple. One of our most beautiful memories from Japan was our first trip together, where we spent three days in Wakayama. While in Japan, we also discovered that we had unknowingly connected as far back as 2014, on a trivia quiz app!

Im September 2024, ein halbes Jahr nach unserem Umzug nach Wien, reisten wir nach Italien. Ein lang ersehnter Traum wurde wahr, als wir auf die Insel Capri fuhren – ein Ort, auf den Amina sich schon seit Jahren freute. Amina schwärmte von einem Antrag im Urlaub, doch Jenni überzeugte sie, dass es dafür noch zu früh war. Also legte Amina ihren Plan beiseite und verriet Jenni, was sie eigentlich vorgehabt hatte – schließlich war es "noch nicht an der Zeit". Doch dann, nach einer langen Wanderung in der heißen Sonne, erreichten wir die Villa Lysis – und dort war es Jenni, die Amina mit einem Antrag überraschte. Genau dort, wo Amina es ursprünglich geplant hatte. Und genau deshalb sind unsere Einladungen im Stil von Capri gestaltet – als liebevolle Erinnerung an diesen ganz besonderen Tag. Nel settembre 2024, sei mesi dopo il nostro trasferimento a Vienna, abbiamo fatto un viaggio in Italia. Un sogno atteso da tanto tempo si è finalmente realizzato quando abbiamo visitato l’isola di Capri — un luogo che Amina desiderava vedere da anni. Durante l’organizzazione del viaggio, Jenni sospettava che Amina stesse pensando a una proposta, e le disse che era ancora troppo presto. Così Amina mise da parte l’idea e raccontò a Jenni cosa aveva in mente — dopotutto, “non era ancora il momento giusto”. Ma poi, dopo una lunga camminata sotto il sole cocente, siamo arrivate alla Villa Lysis — ed è lì che Jenni ha sorpreso Amina con una proposta. Proprio come Amina l’aveva immaginata per sé. Poiché è stato tutto totalmente inaspettato, lo smalto di Amina non era affatto adatto all’occasione. Ed è proprio per questo che i nostri inviti sono ispirati a Capri — un omaggio a quel momento indimenticabile. In September 2024, six months after moving to Vienna, we took a trip to Italy. A long-awaited dream came true when we visited the island of Capri — a place Amina had been looking forward to for years. While planning the trip, Jenni suspected that Amina might be thinking of proposing and said it was still too early for that. So Amina put her plan aside and shared the idea she had originally come up with, after all, it was “too soon.” But then, after a long hike under the blazing sun, we arrived at Villa Lysis — and there, Jenni surprised Amina with a proposal. Since it came as a complete surprise, Amina’s nail polish was absolutely not suitable for the occasion. And that’s why our invitations are styled after Capri, they're a tribute to this unforgettable moment.
