Who is Violet?

Answer

River is transitioning and now goes by the name Violet, using she/her pronouns. This is an important part of who she is, and it means a great deal to us to be surrounded by love, respect, and support on our wedding day. We kindly ask all guests to honor Violet’s name and pronouns, we understand mistakes happen. If you are unable give this simple level of respect, we respectfully ask that you do not attend. Thank you for your understanding and care.

Why Can't I RSVP?

Answer

If you are unable to RVSP, please make sure you have received a link that allows The Boyds to get your contact information. Following that, the couple will send a link (or mail an invite) that will allow you to RSVP. If you were sent this link, please double check that the sender didn't already RSVP for your party. Please also understand that guest count is limited, we appreciate your understanding and interest.

Where should I stay?

While we are not providing lodging for those who have to travel in from out of state we have listed some accommodations that are in Kansas City. Please check the tab labeled "Need a Place to Stay" to find these accommodations.

Not enough spots in the RSVP for your family?

Answer

Please reach out to either of The Boyds to let them know, so the guest count can be updated accordingly, if possible. Kindly note that there is a maximum number of guests, so we appreciate you checking in with us, but understand we might not be able to accommodate everybody! Thank you for understanding.

What should I wear?

Wedding Party: Formal attire is required. IFYKYK Guests: Please come dressed in your best! Semi-formal attire is required and appreciated. You can find inspiration in the "What to wear?" Tab. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

What is the vibes?

Answer

The Boyd's wedding vibes are based around a sunset with the colors: muted burnt orange, dark mauve, cyan blue, and navy blue. We are imaging more of an elegant rustic style. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Why is the Registry Cash funds?

Answer

This is due to the fact that instead of wishing to buy, we buy when we want. We thought it would be more accessible and easier if we did cash funds that could go towards helping us fund our honeymoon and hobbies!

Are children allowed?

Answer

We completely understand that child care can be both expensive and hard to come by. We would truly love to have all of our family—little ones included—there to celebrate this special day with us!
