We met in 2014 at Cal Poly Pomona through Greek life where we slowly became friends. For years, that is exactly what we were, friends with a long running joke that if we were both still single by 2040, we would just marry each other. Yes, we even made a Facebook event that still exists. In 2020, when the world slowed down, our friendship grew even closer, and somewhere along the way, we realized it had become something more. Our first date almost did not happen. Amie was in Santa Barbara for a friend’s wedding and knew Jackson lived nearby. Her friends Ashley and Katie encouraged her to invite him to meet up after the wedding. When everyone else canceled, Amie took a chance and suggested they still meet anyway. That night became our first official date and the beginning of everything. We both knew that if our friendship ever turned into something more, it would be forever. Since then, we have gone from long distance to moving across states multiple times, and only grown closer with every chapter. What began as a college friendship became the love of our lives, and we could not be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
