We've carefully planned our celebration with limited capacity in mind. Plus ones have been thoughtfully included for guests and will be noted on their invitation. At this time, we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those identified. Thank you so much for your understanding!

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the evening with us!

How far is the ceremony venue from the reception venue?

Answer

Our ceremony venue is at Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills and is approximately 8 miles (~30 minutes) from Shutters on the Beach, our reception venue.

Where do I park at Shutters on the Beach?

Answer

Parking at Shutters on the Beach is available via valet upon arrival. Valet service will be provided and fully covered by us for all guests.

Where do I park at the church?

Answer

Guests are welcome to park on the street near the church. The closest cross streets are Bedford Dr. and Roxbury Dr., and the entrance to the church is located on Santa Monica Blvd.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. Cocktail hour will take place outdoors, where guests can enjoy Shutters' beach views before heading inside for the evening's celebration.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

June in Los Angeles is typically warm and sunny with daytime temperatures usually in the mid-70s to low 80s. Santa Monica tends to be a bit cooler with coastal breezes, especially in the evening.

Will discounted rooms be available at Shutters on the Beach?

Answer

Yes, Shutters on the Beach has provided a room block over the dates of Friday, June 11, 2027 through Sunday, June 13, 2027. To receive the room block rate, please make your reservations before Tuesday, April 27, 2027. Reservations may be placed by calling or emailing the Reservations Department at 866-527-6612 or reservations@shuttersonthebeach.com and referencing "IHO Amie Vu & Sam Bennett Wedding Room Block". Cancellations must be made by 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard time, 72 hours prior to the date of arrival in order to avoid a charge of one night's room rate plus tax (15%).
