Where in the world is Hakuba? Hakuba is a beautiful valley in the Japanese Alps and is home to the 1998 Japan Olympics. It is famous for "Japow" powder snow, stunning mountain peaks, and a variety of fun activities in both winter and green seasons. Hakuba is 3 hours west of Tokyo. Travel may seem daunting for first timers, and we are here to help make it as seamless as possible for you! For more information, see https://hakuba.com/about/about-hakuba/#getting-here While not necessary, renting a car in Nagano or Hakuba may be a fun idea for those who have international/Japanese licenses and want to explore.
