Hike to Happo PondHike to Happo Pond
This is Hakuba's most popular hike, and the place where John proposed to Ami. Take the Happo Gondola and two chair lifts to the trail head. Then simply hike up 60 minutes and you've reached the pond. It is one of the most stunning views in Hakuba.

Iwatake is just 2 miles from your accommodation and is one of the Hakuba Valley’s most popular resorts. It offers a range of activities, including mountain biking, mountain karts, and scenic hiking trails. Visitors can also enjoy a café with breathtaking mountain views, making it a perfect spot for adventure and relaxation.
Onsen BathOnsen Bath
Hakuba is home to several natural occurring hot spring baths called onsen. These onsen baths are perfect way to relax and soak in Japanese Culture (no pun intended). There are several within Hakuba and they cost around JPY 1,000 per visit.
Land Station HakubaLand Station Hakuba
Land Station Hakuba is home to a Starbucks, Snow Peak Retail outlet, a restaurant and some of the best views of the Hakuba mountain range. The building was designed by Japan's most famous architect, Kengo Kuma. It is walkable from most accommodations in Hakuba.
Oide ParkOide Park
This riverside park is one of the most beautiful in Hakuba, offering expansive mountain views. The photo at the top of this page was captured here, showcasing its stunning scenery. It is about 2 miles from the center of Hakuba.
