What’s the dress code?

We would love for our family and friends to be our “something blue” or something in that color scheme, please see our Events page for ideas! Since our celebration will take place on a coastal rooftop, we recommend bringing a light jacket to stay comfortable during the evening hours.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This will give you ample time to locate the venue, navigate the single elevator to the top floor, and comfortably get seated. Our ceremony will start promptly, so we appreciate your early arrival.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is limited near our venue, but don't worry! We recommend using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, or walking from your hotel. The La Jolla Cove Hotel only offers paid parking for hotel guests. There are also some paid parking options available in the surrounding area for those driving. Can you tell us more about the Hotel construction?

Answer

Yes! We were notified January 2026 that the hotel under our venue will be going through renovations. This includes scaffolding and noise from 7am - 3pm on Monday - Friday. Parking will be Valet only. We realize this is not ideal and apologize for any inconvenience! There will be an elevator for access.

Can I bring a plus one?

Only guests who have been specifically invited and have RSVP'd are included on our wedding guest list. We appreciate your understanding as we create an intimate celebration with our closest loved ones.

Yes! Our entire celebration will unfold at the stunning La Jolla rooftop cove, ensuring a seamless and intimate experience for you and our guests. You'll enjoy every moment without any travel between venues.

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Our wedding celebration will feature a complete dinner, delectable desserts, and a fully hosted bar. We're committed to ensuring every guest enjoys their meal, with gluten-free options available. If you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please note them on your RSVP so we can thoughtfully accommodate your needs.

Do you have a registry?

Yes! Since many of our loved ones will be traveling to celebrate with us, we kindly request no physical gifts. Instead, we would be grateful for monetary contributions toward our honeymoon or future home. You can easily contribute through our Zola registry or at the wedding. If there is a gift you want to bring feel free!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly request an "unplugged" ceremony, inviting our guests to be fully present and share in the moment. Our professional photographer will beautifully capture every detail, and once the ceremony concludes, we can't wait to celebrate together with phones and cameras at the ready!
