Maid of Honor
Kalina and Amelia's friendship began in the church nursey, before they can remember. Despite going to different high schools, they remained friends through always hanging out on Sundays and having sleepovers. It wasn't until they both went to college that their friendship grew deeper, always making it a point to see each other on breaks and constantly texting about new experiences and life's challenges. Today, Kalina and Amelia even have matching pine cone tattoos which they got to commemorate all of their time growing up together at Wesley Forest Church Camp. Fun Fact: In elementary and middle school, they used to record little vlogs called the "Kalina and Amelia show."
Best Man
David and PJ became friends in college when they were roommates at Misericordia. Their friendship was jam packed with adventures throughout their four years of college. Even after graduation, they have continued to find time to see each other, or when they aren't able to be in the same state, spend time catching up on the phone. David has been an amazing friend to PJ over the years and has become family. PJ was the best man in David's wedding and can't wait for David to fulfil that role for him. Fun Fact: David and PJ showed up to their freshman dorm on the first day with unplanned matching bedsheets.
Matron of Honor
Laura and Amelia first became close as waltz partners in BHS's production of Sound of Music in 2010, then were in the color guard together for marching band. From there, they've remained close friends and eventually became sisters. Through thick and thin, they've always had each other's back and Laura couldn't be more proud of the woman Amelia has become. Laura says she is so excited to stand by Amelia's side as she marries her best friend and wishes her and PJ nothing but lots of love and adventure. Fun Fact: In high school, Amelia rented Laura on "Rent a Senior Day" during Homecoming Week and made Laura carry all her stuff between classes.
Groomsman
Mitch and PJ grew up like a typical pair of brothers. They played all their favorite sports, had fun on vacations, and killed time around the house together. In college, Mitch had guest appearances for the Misericordia University's Ultimate Frisbee team and in intramural basketball games even though he went to Wilkes University. They continue to talk how to annoy mom and dad even though they are not in Millville as much anymore. Now that Mitch lives in Montana, PJ looks forward to more trips going out to visit him and exploring the mountains together. Fun Fact: Once during fight, the brothers accidentally broke a filled fish tank and water went everywhere.
Bridesmaid
Audrey's parents were named Amelia's godparents years before Audrey was born, and Amelia would tell everyone that Becky and Doug were having her little sister, which confused a lot of people. As they grew up, they fought like sisters early on, but eventually the bickering would stop and they acted the way sisters should. Amelia always runs to Audrey when she needs major advice, despite Audrey being the "younger sister." She has continued to be a sounding board and a judgement free zone for Amelia over the years and Amelia couldn't imagine going on this journey without Audrey by her side. Fun Fact: Audrey bleached Amelia's hair during the 2020 quarantine.
Groomsman
Jon and PJ met on the Misericordia soccer team. PJ credits Jon with helping him become more extroverted throughout their time in college together, which parlayed into Jon pushing PJ to become a better person all together. Whenever PJ needed him, Jon was there for a workout and/or a talk and teaching PJ the importance of living in the moment and not having any regret in life. Fun Fact: Despite being friends for over a decade, PJ and Jon don't have any photos of them together. The one shown here was photoshopped by Jon.
Bridesmaid
Amelia met Becca in the Athletic Training Room during their junior year at Millersville University; their friendship became immediate and quickly discovered they were essentially soulmates. Amelia credits Becca with all of her success on, and off the track, during their senior year because Becca would always spend extra time making sure Amelia was prepared for races every week, and would also be there in the drop of a hat if Amelia was having a particularly bad day. The two of them would often be seen together studying at the library, on best friend dates local restaurants where they always spelled their names wrong on orders, attending concerts on weekends without track meets, or at The Village hiding from academic responsibilities. Fun Fact: Amelia has constantly been trying to get Becca to move up to Bloomsburg and work for Geisinger so she can be closer.
Groomsman
Ross, or Dr. Baver, became roommates with PJ and David back at Misericordia University, and the stories they could tell you are endless. A memory that Ross said he will never forget is PJ and David singing Red, Red Ross to him freshman year. Ross was working as a PT in Lititz when PJ and Amelia were looking for another roommate while they were in grad school. As roommates, Amelia says she became a better sports fan because Ross followed many more sports than her and taught her to have an appreciation for golf and the NHL while watching games/matches together. PJ notes that Ross has always been an excellent friend and can't wait spend more PSU football games with him in the future (maybe Ross won't abandon him next time). Appropriate Fun Fact: PJ and Ross were in a boyband together called Fresh A3 in college.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Amelia have been calling each other sisters since they were in diapers. Liz rounds out the trio with Kalina and Amelia, much of their time spent together was on Sunday play dates, running around the church playing Man Hunt during youth group, and fighting like sisters at Wesley Forest. Eventually, their relationship flourished outside the church it began in, and they shared the excitement of life together through high school and college. Despite Liz finishing up grad school in Texas, they are constantly sending videos and memes to each other (and Kalina) on a daily basis to remind on another that they're always thinking of each other. Fun Fact: The Davis family would always go to the Bodenman house on snow days because Liz had the BEST front yard for sledding,
Groomsman
Derek is the one friend that PJ has just always wanted to hang out with, despite moving out of Millville after high school. PJ says it's hard to pinpoint one thing that stands out about their friendship, but that is what makes it great. They've continued to make an effort to see each other and have grown with each other through different challenges and successes in life. Amelia and Derek knew each other from volunteering at Camp Ability and Special Olympics. When Derek found out that Amelia and PJ started dating, he knew it was going to be a perfect match. Fun Fact: PJ and Derek used to chase deer through the woods on weekend nights in high school.
