Visiting National Parks has become a tradition for us! We try to visit a different park each year. Haleakala was the first National Park we visited together. We biked down the volcano on May 19, 2021.

We hiked Old Rag in Shenandoah National Park with Nick's family on December 31, 2021. That December was the first time Amelia met Nick's family!

In September of 2022, we took a trip to Utah and visited Bryce Canyon.

After Bryce we went to Zion! We were on the second tram of the day to the Narrows, but we ran to the front so we could have the trail to ourselves for a while.

Angel's Landing in Zion is not generally recommended for those with a fear of heights. Thankfully Amelia has mostly gotten over her mild fear of heights.

Another photo from Mt. Rainer!

We visited Mt. Rainier right after Olympic. This photo is from the Panorama Point hike, we didn't bring shoe spikes or poles and almost fell down the mountain a few times, but we made it!

We biked to Shark Valley Observation Tower in May of 2024. We did not see any sharks, but we did see some alligators.

The mosquito meter was set to "unpleasant" during our trip to the Everglades. I can confirm that the mosquitoes were unpleasant, but we still had a good time!

Most recently we went kayaking with some of Amelia's family at Channel Islands National Park in January of 2025! We saw lots of Channel Islands Foxes on the island.
